The Indefinite Project

As I have mentioned on several occasions, I am in the process of trying to work as a filmmaker. I recently launched a video and new media production company with three colleagues. We’re called The Indefinite Project, or IdP for short.

There’s basically two parts to what we do. There’s our business, which we’re trying to figure out the ins and outs of at the moment, and then there’s what we refer to as ‘The Subtlety War’. They are very much related, but also really different.

The business:

To put it simply, we are a production company operating out of Ottawa, ON. We specialize in HD video, and our biggest strength as a company is that we have the means to do everything in the video production process. We can shoot, edit, create graphics and music and market any material we create, whether it is for our own use or for a client.

The Subtlety War:

This came out of a very sleep deprived few days, in which we started writing down the stupid things that came out of our mouths. This is a habit that has continued over the past 10 months. We now have quite the list.

The idea is that eventually there will be a sort of web series that incorporates all of these oddities in various sketches.

609 is a film we created for the National Film Challenge.

It kinda goes under the Subtlety War,

since it incorporates a lot of those strange ideas.
